Example projects
STIG provides example projects you can use as a starting point for your own models. The examples use the Zero-Clause BSD (0BSD) license. Explore the generated demos below, then clone an example to edit it yourself.
See Installation for prerequisites and Start a STIG project for instructions on copying an example into your own repository. Reports explains the generated HTML.
stig-robot — robot system
Explore the robot demo — browse the generated HTML report.
stig-robot source repository models an indoor delivery robot, from the item and physical controllers through the robot application to a ROS 2 collision guard node. It traces an obstacle-stop requirement and an output failure across the hierarchy. The ready-to-use example selects the published STIG plugin and keeps source-code analysis disabled.
Open the local report URL printed by Gradle to see your changes. The example retains documented open safety findings; use its README for the model's assumptions and current scope.
stig-project — project template
Explore the template demo — browse the generated HTML report.
stig-project source repository is a small, model-only template demonstrating context, requirements, design, analysis, and tests. Use it to learn the project structure or begin a new specification. It uses the published STIG plugin and does not require a local STIG or PhASAR checkout.
Open the report URL printed by Gradle. For proxy configuration and other host setup options, follow the repository's README and Installation.
Use stigUpdate when upgrading STIG so the version, wrapper, dependency locks, and verification metadata stay aligned:
