Gradle command reference
Use STIG workflows to choose a task by the engineering workflow. That central guide describes task scope, generated outputs, and the normal configure/report workflow. The generated Gradle task API supplies exact version-specific options, including supporting diagnostics and individual P1–P7 tasks.
Invocation pattern
./gradlew :<optional-element-path>:<task> [task options]
./gradlew help --task :<optional-element-path>:<task>
Root edit workflows and report publication can affect multiple modules or remote state. Read the linked workflow before running them. Check and diagnostic tasks do not authorize source edits.
Ask $stig:project
Every entry in the generated task API contains a task-specific prompt. For task selection, start with:
Use $stig:project to map <engineering goal> to the correct root or element Gradle task.
Explain why that scope is correct, show the exact options from this STIG version,
and stop before any source, Git, remote, or user-scoped mutation I did not request.
