stig-core
Core STIG module containing the highway-domain metamodel and the shared rule engine.
Role within STIG
stig-core is the single source of truth for safety-model types and rules. It is consumed by:
end users, who instantiate metamodel types (
Failure,Analysis,InterfacePointAnalysis, …) directly in their Kotlin source to author safety models;stig-engineandstig-gradle-plugin, which load compiled instances and run rules from CI / Gradle;stig-idea-plugin, which materializes instances live from the editor's Kotlin PSI and runs the same rules to drive inline highlighting.
All three consumers operate on real instances of the metamodel types and invoke the rule engine without any adapter or translation layer. New rules and new metamodel types go here; everywhere else just consumes them.
stig-core is intentionally dependency-light (only semver4j is exposed as api) so that any consumer — including the IDE plugin's runtime — can pull it in without dragging additional libraries.
