DiagramLevel
The level of detail a diagram is rendered at — orthogonal to the diagram TYPE (data-flow vs control-flow) and to the export format. Each level has a natural layout direction. The gradle layer maps each level to one export format:
| Level | Layout | Export | Content |
|---|---|---|---|
| SUMMARIZED | left-right | SVG | interface points only: sources + sinks (+ entry for control-flow), connected by reachability — one arrow per connected pair |
| SOURCE_CODE | top-down | Sigma | source-code instructions (!isCompilerGenerated), flat |
| HIERARCHICAL | top-down | Cytoscape | full box-in-box hierarchy (element → scope → function → source line → instruction), foldable |
| IR | top-down | (Cytoscape/Sigma) | every instruction incl. compiler-generated IR, flat |
The level is the meaning; the export format is just the renderer. Cytoscape can render any level (it folds the hierarchy); SVG + Sigma render only the non-hierarchical levels.
